Prices and transfer records
Start a new career for the new economy. Player valuations, generated wages and recurring finances use a 20× scale to put the classic engine into modern pound ranges. These are gameplay estimates: age, reputation, form, club and contract length still affect the price. Long-term financial balance remains to be tested.
All playable clubs use the supplied save’s GBP cash, rounded to £20,000. Negative balances are preserved and the old minimum-cash replacement is removed. These are the update creator’s scenario estimates, not audited current finances or separately approved transfer budgets. View club balances and import coverage. Starting transfer records use reported initial fees, without conditional add-ons. Coverage currently includes 20 English clubs and PSG; unverified fees remain blank. New transfers still build your career’s records. View fees and sources.
Existing careers retain their saved prices, wages, finances and records.
Verification
The updated English career has completed league and cup match simulations, a transfer, an in-game save and a fresh browser restore.
Automated checks cover database links, record layouts, converted dates and ratings, original-game preservation, save isolation and browser controls. The updated Arsenal test passed the August European fixture round that previously stalled. A contract renewal was submitted and applied, and completed transfers were observed. The historical build has also completed a manually managed match with five substitutions.
Full-season testing, every playable country, and physical iPhone/Android testing remain outstanding. Touch-friendly layouts are provided.
Known issues
The extended English-career test reached 20 August, where fixture rows overlapped and navigation stopped responding. A proper save from that date restored successfully, but progression beyond it is unverified. Some quick clicks were missed; try a deliberate short hold. These issues are still being investigated.
Data conversion limits
The source save has modern squads on an internal 2001 calendar. Birth, joining and expiry dates are shifted back four years for the original engine. The native game starts in 1997, with the original league sizes and historical competition records.
Imported club assignments reflect the supplied snapshot, including custom transfers. Source loan ownership, future moves and detailed contract clauses are not copied. The original engine generates prices and wages using the new economy scale. Some later-game attributes have to be combined to fit the original engine’s ratings.
The original nation labels are retained where required by the engine. Player histories are cleared to avoid attaching another player’s past. Club Brugge B has only eight eligible source players; no invented players were added.
Engine research
The playable game uses the original executable, so its match engine, transfers and contracts run as part of the game. Separate research has reconstructed selected routines and checked them against the original machine code. A complete replacement engine has not been built.
47 routine variants have been checked against 58,996 machine-code observations. Match routine evidence · Contract evidence · Valuation evidence.
